350 mag Horizon power loss

I was on plane @ about 3600 rpm when I lost power.The engine did not stall but now it will not go over 3000 rpm about 10 mph tops.Has new fuel filter,cap & rotor,plugs.My mechanic did not find any stored codes and no alarms came on.It's a 2003 with Bravo 3.
Any thoughts?

might want to check compression on all cyl's. i have had the same problem just over the weekend and lost compression in 2 cyl's.
