Ayuh,... What Outdrive,..??
Is the problem, Stripped teeth,..??

If so,...
Ya gotta pull the outdrive, then the motor...
If you can gain the space to work, the motor can stay in the hull,...
You'll need a few Feet...
Then pull off the flywheel, 'n knock the Ring Gear off the flywheel...
Take the New Ring Gear, 'n pop it in the oven, set to 450? for about 20 minutes or so...
It'll Drop right inta place when placed on the old, but cleaned up flywheel....
The heat will get sucked out quickly, 'n it's there for Good...

Then bolt it All back together, 'n figure out Why it happened in the 1st place....

Bond-o is right, but getting the bellhousing off with the engine in place wont be fun, or easy... i suggest pulling the motor off the mounts at least and moving the engine out so you can get to it easier... then you can ispect everything, look real close at that coupler while your there... and realign it
