Charging A/C Units

Is there any way to charge the A/C units in my boat without the cooling circulating pumps on. My interior is completely torn apart and you can get to them very easy now, but the boat is inside storage till mid May when the interior will be put back together.

Sure but that might not fix the problem. Since they are self-contained it's literally a 10 minute job to pull the units out. Remove them and have them checked. Sounds like this is a good time to do it. My guy charges 100 bucks and cleans the coil in/out, checks refrigerant and bench-runs.

If water on the floor is no problem just hook a garden hose at the discharge of your pump.
