To correct a rough running engine at high speed (idle seems OK), it was recommended that I try poking a small wire through the high speed orifice or just bite the bullet and rebuild the carb.
I want to try something short of the rebuild.
Can I/Should I;
1) leave the high speed orifice in the carb and spray Gum-Out through it (the orifice, not the carb)?
2) take the orifice out (I have the proper tool for this) and give it a good cleaning and put it back?
3) poke the small wire through it?
4) use some combination of 1, 2, and 3?
