My 2002 240 fourwinns hesitates and backfires when i open it all the way up. It's not until the last 5% of thre throttle is pushed foward that this happens. I have installed new plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap, rotor button and fuel filter. With the tune up it runs slightly better but has the exact same result at the very top end. I have a throttle body on a 5.7 litre engine. I suspect my fuel pump is going bad or possibly a bent cam.
