when your checking that blue and getting 3v where are your meter leads?
remember that the 95 and up 2.6L and all 3.1L motors require the enging to be RUNNING for automatic transfer.
what indicates are lit on the tach with key on engine off?
thats the fastest way to test SWB.

Thanks again, Rodbolt. I didn't realize that engine had to be running to permit automatic transfer and that may be the source of my problems. I should have checked that....

As to 3 volts at blue, red on meter to unplugged blue pin connector after EPU engine side (under shift cables) and black on meter to neg terminal on starter. Same results with that plug connected and plug at remote oil tank disconnected.

but what indicates do you get on the tach?
