I have volt tester my coil which is with an external resistor, and with the wires from my ignition i have 12.6, but when i hook it to my coil it drops to 4.8, and i am not getting spark on the plugs?? I have also replaced the condenser in the cap.
need power to the + side of the coil, points set properly and opening and closing, and a good condenser. A bad tach or shift interupter will also kill the spark.
