I have a 1980 OMC 185 v-8, Im having trouble with the engine stalling at Idle and wont start without me revving up the engine with the throttle control lever..
The only way it turns on is by me manually giving it gas with the control lever, when I crank the engine and rev it, it runs fine but when I bring back the lever to nutreal to put it in gear it dies out.
I also smelled a lot of gas, Can it be running to rich making the engine to stall?
Has new fuel pump and Spark Plugs, Does the CARB new to be adjusted?
