Alright guys,

Heres a tricky one...I replace my spark plugs and they just keep turnin and turnin, turns out there are little pieces of metal on them when I pull them out and my spark plug intake female screw piece thingy is stripped! I was thinking some lock tight??? Any Suggestions before i possibly blow myself up?

Google helicoil which will fix the problem. There are even you tube videos about inserting a helicoil

Two suggestions.
Heli-coils or replace cylinder head with new or used head.

You won't blow yourself up, what motor are you talking about?

^^^??

They make spark plug taps, you might be able to re-tap. Check the parts places, or the helicoil idea.

^^^^^+1 on helicoil or new head. Don't use lockitite. Also the taps are junk. If there's not enough threads to hold a plug there's not enough to tap it. I tried on a lawnmower once. Ran good for about 5 minutes then blew the plug out and dang near took out my head as I was bending down to look at it.

Get a used head, just went through this on a 64, the helicoil let go and we lost a cylinder on the lake.

As far as retapping, re tap into what, the metal is gone!

If you don't want to find a used head, take the stripped head to a machine shop and have them put in inserts. That will probably cost as much as a used head.

I'm with the HeliCoil. Make sure you use red loctite on it.
