Hi all, A bayliner newbie here.
I have a Bayliner Capri 1750ls 3.0L Alpha 1 1998
My problem is:
2" of slack in the rack and pinion steering?
Throttle slack with my Commander Remote 3000 Classic about 2" of play after de-tent both forward and reverse before engine responds.
I guess there should be some slack but I don't know if this is a normal amount and find out I should have left it alone.

Any advice welcome

Not sure if it's supposed to be normal or not, but I had the same play with my '89 Thundercraft, same motor setup.
