Hi all.
Having started normally several times that day my engine would not fire up.
Once home i could hear a clicking in the engine when i turned the key but nothing more happened. Having read through the posts on this site i have tried the following:-
re charged the battery.
tried another battery. (car battery)
checked the fuse in the engine.
put a volt meter on the starter motor wires, it is reading 12v
the round toothy bit at the top of the starter motor that engages the cog of the engine is free moving but does not move when the key is turned.
