Merc 5.0L 305 Chevy safe sustained RPM?

I know I asked this on my 120HP 4cyl, but on the V8 engine, I cruise at 3200RPM, and was curious if I was in a hurry, what the max I should push it to sustained for long periods.

Ayuh,... at 3200rpms, Properly proped, most Any motors We run, will live Long,+ Healthy lifes,...

The Harder you Beat 'em beyond that just shorten's it's usable life,...

Exponentially at Redline, 'n beyond....;)

Redline is 5k+ on my RPM guage. With the 21p prop I cannot ever reach redline at WOT. Anyways what is the safe prolonged RPM I should stick with? Like 3800RPM tops, I just don;t know.
