Hi I have a 1993 Stingray 4.3. I had the carburator rebuilt thinkin that was the reason power was down. That didnt fix the problem. Have new wires timing is advancing under acc. I bought a rebuilt from Flying Fish Carburators dont know if the carb is still the problem. Any suggestions.

Yes the fuel filters have been changed. It's not fuel.

Well after reading I will check my fuel pressure. But the problem is only at full throttle, it takes the boat a long time to plane lack of full throttle with a load. New prob not that

Does the boat miss under a load, or does it simply lack power? How do your plugs look? Do they smell terrible of gas? Does it start up easily? Did you adjust the carb at all after installation?

The boat starts fine plugs look good did a compression check and adjusted the carbs. The boat just lacks power wich it never did. I have to get people to sit forward to get the boat to plane
