I just got a pontoon boat (1990 Lowe 245) with a 1990 Evinrude 70 HP. The wiring in the console is a mess!
I have found that the warning buzzer has a pigtail and two spade lugs. All three wires were disconnected.
I have looked through many posts, and it seems that this buzzer has a test function.
Can anyone help with the color codes on the wire and the spade lug connections? I have a generic Johnson/Evinrude repair manual, but it only covers up to 1989; I can't seem to find any info on wiring this type of buzzer.
