Well, my steering wheel came in yesterday and I will begin the install of my cable tonight. I don't want to screw this up so any hints, tips, advice would be much appreciated. I already have the steering mounted in the dash- I just have to run the cable. I'm not going to be mounting to the transom yet because I still have the cap off the boat because of my restoration.

You can check out my thread to see where I'm at in the project. I have a bunch of pictures and videos to this point.

I have read over the directions about a dozen times:D It seems i just have to get the wheel lined up, install the cable, and turn the wheel.

Again, any advice would be greatly appreciated and any pics(searched the thread looking for a while) would help out as well(I'm a visual guy:))

Here is what she looks like now

Re: Installing my rotary system help

Well, in case anyone is ever interested, I made a video of how to install a rotary steering system. It is a pretty straight forward process- you just have to dive in and do it.

here is the system I went with- teleflex rotary no feedback system
