I was having difficulty removing a hinge pin with the 1/2'' allen. Got one but not the port side. Went and rented hinge pin removal tool from shop. That thing stripped with maybe 50 lbs of torque. I was sitting on my rear and pulling up. (I'm not muscle man either). I was pissed. That was $30 down the tank however I just wanted the damn hinge pin out so I could change bellows and trim sensors. I got a good craftsman punch and cut the top head off to get a good square. Worked like a charm. P.S. don't try to use cheap ones b/c they rounded as well. Oh yea it was pretty damn tight too b/c we bent a 1/2'' superman wrench about an inch sideways.
Also don't buy the u joint sleeve tool. We used a 3 1/2'' socket that was 1'' drive and it fit perfect. Not 100 percent sure on the 3 1/2''. It was big and fit perfect. So if you have one of those laying around your house you can use it. lol.
