I am looking for a carb kit that would fit a 1953 15hp evinrude. I looked in the sierra parts and they only went back to 56'.

The BRP dealer should have it or be able to get it.The 7043 kit fits motors from
1.5 to 20 1954-1990 hard to believe it doesn't go back to 53 on the 15.
Perhaps someone knows the difference.Difference could be as simple as a pin or clip or a simple gasket you could make or reuse.
