Hi all
I have a Bass pro prowler 55lb thrust trolling motor. I need to buy a battery for it I was considering a everstart 29 marine maxx battery. Would this be a good battery for my troller? should i buy 2 batteries initally?
I will mainly be using this boat and troller for crabbing not too far from the ramps i will launch from.
My main concern about the everstarts is the warranty. Has walmart changed the warranty and free replacement periods on these? I noticed some batteries on the shelf with december 09 manufacture dates had a sticker that says 18 month free replacement, but the ones with a manufacture date of january or february 10 dont say 18 month free replacement on them. Just curious before i dump close to a 100 bucks into a battery. I also hear on another forum that walmart is not warranting the marine batteries.
also is the schumacher 15/10/2 smart charger they have good for charging deep cycle batteries?
