Got stuck up the river today after hunting. I have gas making it the feul diaphram and carb. Motor would idle decent but when I put it in gear it would bog out and die. I could get it to rev up and stay running by primeing the choke(shooting ga into carb) I wasnt able to pull carb off on the water because I didnt have the tools to take off the starter. Does that sound like a stuck float? Last week it would bog down while running open. I stopped for 10 min and sat and it started back up. It is also a pain in the butt to start a few times a trip. Could the float be stuck and then somehow becoming un stuck and so forth? Wires and plugs seem fine. Thanks.

Sounds like its starving for fuel. Check fuel lines for air leaks and clean carbs. How do the pluga look?

sounds like several possiblities, will have to trouble shoot . having to use the primer points to clogging high speed jets,(carb rebuild, replace fuel lines ethanol), it also could be these: power pack heating up and failing, coil heating up and failing.
