Your in the right place. Lot's of helpfull guys here. You should get a model # off your engine if you have any specific questions. Your motor is a 6 cyl. 2 stroke crossflow. The only fluid in the engine assembly is in the lower unit gearcase. The oil is mixed in the fuel at a 50:1 ratio either manually or thru a vro type metering system(seperate oil tank)

OK, as far as the "fluids" are concerned I'd would only worry about your lower gearcase fluid. Check the type recommended by your mfg. In this case evinrude might post that on there website. http://www.evinrude.com/

The oil is changed by two plugs in the lower unit. That is the part from the bottom of the prop to the cavation plate. Look in that region for a large flat head screw. The top plug is the vent plug and the bottom is used to drain and fill the gearcase. Unscrew the bottom first and no fluid should flow out. Open the vent plug and as the oil runs out check for milkyness or any whiteness in color. Standing water is also bad. It should smell stinky, but when drained use a squirt can to fill from the bottom with both caps off. When oil flows out of the top plug the gearcase is full. When the motor is upright take off the vent plug and top off the oil.

Hope that helps and I highly suggest that you double and triple check bilge plugs and trailor harness before your first launch. When the motor is in operation check for exiting water from the coolant pump. If nothin comes out shut it off asap to prevent damage. Other than that I'd add that if you're new to a lake always take it slow or observe other boats to see what sort of underwater obstacles there are... Within a month of first having my boat I lost a prop to an underwater tree, It was an unglorious discovery when I hauled her out that day...

Welcome to iboats. lower unit oil, is all there is. i would replace all fuel lines from carbs to tank. here is a lot of good info, some does not involve your motor, but most does. ask questions first, it could save you money and head aches.

before doing anything,

did you test drive the boat in the water?
if so what was your max rpm?

if you didnt... stop before spending money on parts.

do a compression check.

good luck
