On this boat there is a fiberglass floor liner that has partially debonded from the sides of the hull on both port and starboard from about the middle of the boat to the stern. down the center line of the boat the floor liner drops down to the keel and gives head room up in the bow for the cuddy and is storage in the main part of the boat. because the liner debonded I wanted to see if the stringers had recieved water damage, so from the storage well i drilled a hole to check the wood but i drilled only through fiberglass and then hit foam and probed around but found no wood stringer. I am wondering if this liner serves as the stringer system also ?
