and are there any modifications to make thanks for your help I have bought this lower unit and it appears that it will fit. I dont know much about these but i would assume i need to have th lower unit in the neutral position when i install it. But i have turn the spindle both ways as far as it goes and no matter where its at it seems to be staying in the same gear which i believe is forward. How do i get it in neutral? Also i changed the impeller as it has been sitting in a garage for 7 years. Is there anything else i should do before i put it on my motor?
