I have a 93 johnson 25 horsepower and when i went to carry it out this week i noticed a couple drops of oil between the prop and lower unit, the prop is not loose at all does anybody know what this could be and how to repair it?
You need to determine if it is lower unit oil or unburned oil from the exhaust. Is it really black and cruddy, most likely unburnt oil. Very thick and smells bad most likely lower unit oil.
