Wondering how to set the idle on my 1979 9.9 Evinrude. Had carb rebuilt and powerhead removed to replace bad exhaust gasket. Compression in both cylinders at 100. Mechanic has gotten motor to idle, but idle conrol knob on side of case is all the way in. Little to no adjustment for trolling. Motor always purrs like a kitten. Help me figure out what to say to him to get this fixed. I spent 420 bucks and I'n not happy!!!
