I Have A 1988 Chris Craft 32 Amerosport With Twin 350 Crusaders. When I Purchased The Boat The Port Engine Was Not Running. I Had It Diagnosed At The Marina As Needing The Port Carb Rebuilt. After Port Carb Was Rebuilt It Started But Was Bogging Some Under Load. I Replaced The Fuel Filter And Installed Water Seperators And This Seemed To Correct The Problem. Approx 5 Hours Of Use Later The Port Engine Would Not Start At All Again. I Removed The Fuel Pump And Saw The Diaphram Was Old And Cracked So I Replaced The Pump. She Ran Great After That For Approx 10 Hours Or So Of Use Then The Same Port Engine Shut Off On Me While Out In Long Island Sound. It Cranked Over And Over But Would Not Fire. I Removed The Spark Arrestor And Sprayed Quick Start In And It Would Fire For A Second Then Die. After The Boat Sits For A Half Hour Or So She Will Start Again But Only Run For A Few Minutes At Idle And If I Try To Give It Gas It Will Heavily Bogg Right Down And Stall Out And Then Wont Start Again For Antoher Half Hour Or So And Keep Repeating This. I Replaced The Fuel Filter, Changed Water Seperator, Cleaned Spark Arrestor, Rebuilt Carb??? Im Lost On What To Do Next. It Almost Seems As If There Is Debris Stuck In The Line And After It Sits The Debris Floats Back Down The Line Allowing It To Start But When I Put Demand On It To Take Off It Sucks It Back Up And Cloggs It Shutting It Off. Is That Possible??? Any Help Would Be Greatly Appreciated. Thank You

#3 in the adults only section. Sounds like your logic is sound. Something is starving the port engine. A fuel valve inline of the two, a weak fuel pump, you just need to run the tests.
