One of mother natures delights!
Whenever "the Angels are bowling" is in the nights forecast we always leave the curtains open to enjoy the show.:)
Had one a few years back I could of read a book by.:eek::D

A friend of mine took this from his back door a few weeks ago.

I asked him what his setup was and this was what he told me.

If you zoom in on the photo you can see it hitting behind a building they are building. You can see it through the windows.

My setup
Mosaic skyscraper
1dsm3
50mm L set at f16
30 second shutter
iso L (50)
auto white balance
tripod of course.
