1972 85hp Evinrude hookup to motor

I took off the neg and pos cable from the motor's control cable and now forgot where the two cable's hook back to the motor. Can someone help.

Ground or negative [black cable] bolts to eng. block.Positive [red cable] goes to starter input stud.

make sure you hook em up correctly... if not you will fry your rectifier

Thanks, may already have, it won't start now. Don't seem to have any power. Worked before I disconnected cable from motor.
