78 Formula

I have a 78 Formula Thunderbird cuddy and I need to replace the forward gear spring in the out drive? Where can I find one, and what's price for a job like this? It's an OMC 230 outdrive.

What is this 'forward gear spring'? And how do you know that is what you need? Do you even know, specifically, which drive you have? '78 Formula means nothing nor does OMC 230. Is the drive original to the boat?

JUst don't ask him about Mercruiser rear mounts, he's still working on those :p :p ;)
