That sounds plausible as long as someone else is buying the parts.
Can you swap the coils around? see if the problem follows the coil.
Just for giggles, first try swapping the sparkplugs, it CAN happen that a plug has internal resistance and can't fire til the ignition gives it a good kick.
Your best money at this point is buy a factory service manual, then follow the ignition tests in the book before ordering parts blindly.
A bit pricey at $78 but still gonna save you a load of money first time you use it. Goodbye Mr mechanic.
Make sure you get the SERVICE manual, not owners manual.
