Stuck Steerring

I have a 2004 Mercury outboard 75HP and the steering is stuck in the tilt tube. I have sprayed two cans of PB Blast at both ends and through the grease hole and no luck. I have tried hammering it out and still no luck. I heard heating might work, but where exactly do i apply the heat to?? Please help it is summer and the kids want to get out on the water..

Sir: You might want to read my replies to thread "steering woes" recently. There might be a better solution, but that was my solution to same problem.

Can you describe (type) your steering system from Helm to tilt tube?
