Lower units interchangeable?

I'm considering replacing the lower unit on my 1992 Nissan 90hp. Are lower units from any other manufacturers going to be interchangeable? Other than Tohatsu, of course.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Nope....But the 60 C and 70 C model use the same lower unit as the 90 A if that helps.
