Just boat a 2007 15 HP 4 Stroke Mercury; had a few problems but the price was right and they seemed like they may be relatively small problems to fix. So before I go tearin stuff apart I just wanted to see what you all thought the problem may be...
First of all, the cable going from the choke knob to the carburetor has broken off at the carburetor so I have to open it up to choke it. (Have contacted Bass Pro to see if they could order the cable for me but they seem to have no clue what the part is)
Next, the engine starts right up after choking it on a cold start but it runs a little rough at idle. Any pointers/solutions?
