pump out station

Having problem at the pump out station as i'm only sucking out a small amount of my gray water tank. As i'm looking at the glass tube it appears as its sucking the water out but it not. My boat is a 2000 year, 24 foot express cruiser can anyone offer me a clue why.

1.make sure the vent is open.
2. see if it has a clog of TP
3. check the holding tank level , sometimes you think your not pumping much out but there is not much left.

Thanks 26ftWellcraft 454bravo3 It never occurred to me about the vacum which needs to flow in the tank, does now make since to check if the vent is allowing the suck pump to draw the fuild out. May have been vacum locking
