Ok, I admit, did a not so smart thing and took everything out end of last yr to store batteries inside and now can't remember how to put it back. The facts: 2000 Nitro Sport 185. Bow mount trolling motor, Pro Series 60, 67#troller. Sticker on the trolling motor says its 24 volt. Coming back from the bow are 4 wires; a red and a black that are kind of paired together, and an orange and black kind of paired up. It looks like the red and orange wires have some sort of inline fuse. Which one goes where? I would assume the red and orange are positive and the black are negative, but to the same battery or one of each?
Second part - I have a ProSport20 dual charger. It has two sets of wires coming out; a red and yellow in each set. Safe bet the red goes to positive and yellow to negative (of the same battery). The manual shows a couple different options using jumpers. No jumpers were on the set up last fall, but not to say it was never hooked up right in the first place. What's the correct way to hook this up?
Just an FYI the boat has a 3rd battery that starts the outboard. Its not hooked up to the charger, this battery in different position on the boat.
Any help would be appreciated.
