Hello again,

Yes it seems to, you would of course need the harness from the engine to the junction box as well (assuming your boat is not brand new and has the harness already ?). I saw a tach and speedo and trim gauge kit that had everything on Ebay for 350 USD.

peter,

OK, I purchased the one you spoke about. When it comes in as well as my new engine, I may have a few more questions for you.

Make sure once again, This should have everything that I need?

You will have to tell me what length your boat is for me to tell you that, also send me the link to the auction you won and I will look at it for you, you may need a different main harness.

OK,

I got the Sc1000 in today and have attached a photo of what I have figured out, I seem to have everything at the gauge side figured out. I do not have another junction box, and I have two other cables. here is the part #'s on them please tell me what else I will need. the gauges are Tach, speed, and trim gauge

Cable - 84-859743
speedo pilot PN 84-863737(where do I hook this up and where do I need to mount it?)

Re: new motor want to install smartcraft

Hello again, sorry for the delay!

84-859743 is the fuel oil and paddle wheel harness, you would need it to connect your fuel tank to the system, if you so desire. look at the thread I pointed you to to see where it connects.

84-863737 I have no idea what that is..... I searched for it and found nothing. You may want to contact mercury marine or send me some close up pictures of it.

I was suprised to see that you have a use for the 848799 (not a complete p/n) I think it is for DTS engines only....

I think you may need to get a harness p/n 84-879981T20 (20 ft, or T25 for a 25 ft etc.) to go from your engine to the junction box for your non- DTS engine. Where were you going to plug it in ??
