Hello,
New to the forum, I have an issue with my Mariner engine and cold starting.
I am able to start it by spraying gas into the carb when its cold (no ether as I read here) and when its warm it starts right up. I noticed that when I push in the key to choke it, i dont hear any click that I think i used to hear. From reading posts here, it sounds like it may be the fuel enrichment valve or the solenoid? i have ordered a manual but dont have it yet. my question is how do i troubleshoot this and where is this valve or solenoid - i cant seem to locate it anywhere.
