I have a 2007 Bayliner 175 BR with a Mercruiser 3.0. I have had no problems and do all the maintenance as needed or as should be down. I had it de-winterized a couple weeks ago and took it out for a test run which it ran great. I took it out again today and ran into some problems. The engine started up great and idled smooth till it warmed up. We took it out and ran it nearly full throttle for a few minutes and then throttled down to a stop. The engine started idling rough as if it was going to cut off. I throttled it up in neutral and it sputtered a little until it was above 2000 rpm. Then it was fine. I throttled it down again and it again ran rough. I put it in drive again and brought it up to speed and when I throttled it down this time the RPM's dropped fast and the engine died. It started right back up, I put it in drive and it sputtered as it gained speed until above 2000 rpm's. I throttled it down again and it cut off again on me. Do you have any suggestions or is there any other information I can give for you to help. Thanks much.
