1990 200 gt hard to start when cold

i have 1990 200 gt on a bass boat what i first crank it it take a good min of it spining over before it starts then it runs good shout if off for 10 min and hard to start again not as bad but then it takes a few min before you can give it any gas or it shout off is this just cold or do i have a prob

Check all fuel line connections to be sure your not losing pressure, does it have a choke from the key? Ever had the carbs cleaned and rebuilt?
