I've just aquired my first boat. I'm 24 and always loved boats and being on the water but just used my parents. Anyway this boat I've aquired I picked up for free off of craigslist and while it needs much work which I can do I have no referance point. The only clues as to what the boat actually is are the caravelle emblems on thr rear sides and the tag that is mounted where the throttle lever should be. all that is written on the tag is as follows.

I would like to know what year it is and anything else about it. if all else fails i can get creative and make it my own but i'd rather restore it to what it should be. as far as ive been able to find so far it may be called a snapper. any help and especially any pics of a finished boat would be greatly appreciated. basically all i have now is a hull. oh yeah its a closed bow 16-18 foot. thanks justin
