88 yamaha 175 no fuel to one cylnder

ive got an 88 175hp it has good compresion and spark but my number one spark plug only gets some oil spray on it! what could this be?

either you broke a reed and have no intake vacum or you have clogged a main jet or idle fuel jet in the carb.
my money would be trash in the carb.
