Hi I just bought a remote control with trim/tilt the one I have on the boat doesn't have trim and tilt I need to swith them out I am not the best when it comes to wiring so is there a picture on the web somewhere I can look at to follow or can some one give me directions on what wire is for what thx

depending on the box, it simply wont matter.
the 703 7 pin box did not have trim the 703 box 10 pin did.
use the 10 pin control box harness on a 7 pin engine and you wont notice anything as the extra 3 pins would control trim switch power and trim up and down.
dont make it hard
but we still dont know what box you have and they make like 7 or so.

Hi thx for the come back it is a 703 the box on the boat now is a 703 with out trim/tilt and the one I am going to put on is with trim and tilt I also have to put a trim and tilt unit on my 40hp the motor, did not come with one when I bought it. Can I just do all that wiring seperate from the harness and run off the battery or should I buy a 10 pin
