Hi, Scotland calling - forgive me if I use some strange lingo here.....I have a 1990 two-stroke 90hp mariner outboard with electric trim/tilt. Motor jammed and stopped working (half way which was a pain). Had to drain the hydraulic fluid to get it up properly. trim/tilt motor was dead and therein we thought lay the problem. However we have to get the 'ram' (don't know what you call this) off to access the motor. Its beaten a few strong men I can tell you.... Is there something we are missing or are we just not strong enough????

Re: Trim and Tilt Jam

ON the starboard side of the mounting bracket in a hole there is a release screw back it out and the engine should tilt manually
