Well I have finally done something worthy of this thread (to do with boating

) !

I was bedding my bilge with a fresh batch of P/B all going very smoothly.... just about to start tabbing it in when it hit me! Ohh MY GOD I forgot to add catalyst !! I gooped it all off the best I could got it back in the jar added the catalyst and redid the job. Hopefully it still kicked properly but ill see by tommorow if worked.

i hope so. most of us have done that. but we are older and have CRS disease.

I don't know how many times I've admired a beautifully bent and flared section of tubing and realized I forgot to put the nut on first.

CRS is a progressive mental disaster. When you get to my age it progresses to CRAFT's disease. Can't Remember A F******ng Thing. That together with COPD
Chronic Old Peoples Disease makes life interesting.

Does that mean someone makes a pill for it?
Is it covered by Medicare?

Ha. I'm laughing so loud i got a pain in my side.

I go over to my friends house to help him with his boat, his wife says to me want coffee or something?

I said yea, She runs out to Wa Wa comes back with coffee and food.

She never turned on the stove or oven don't even knows how to boil water.

What i know, my friend mentioned a golf ball and a garden hose.

Nuff said.

Holy sh*t, not only can I find a cure for my outboards here, but also what is wrong with me.

CRS is o good one. Cant Remember Sh*t.
but CRAFT is funnier yet. Knowing me, I'll forget it, before I can tell anyone

I started with CRS a long time ago.I'm just thankful I don't have CRI (cranial-rectal-insertion) Or better know as having your head up your butt.Jerry

LMAO.......CRI so thats what its called.........i knew there was a name for what was wrong with my teenagers...........i just used the wrong terminology, i ususally just tell them to quit sittin around on their shoulders now i can tell tham im gonna get them a doc app for their CRI.

dont have the CRS nor the CRAFT...........i dont think.........maybe a little!

now the original post ive done something similar to also..........it involved fiberglass resin and mesh..........it doesnt work well without hardener..........and it surely doesnt work well with too much hardener----yes i did both in the same day

...............i can also tell you not to get any resin in your arm pit

-------i had a chip on my keel i was repairing, laying on my back, but it didnt start to burn till i had it all over me.

Make sure you buy some of those paper coveralls and put them on before you glass anything again. Sliding around trying to get where you need to can sometimes open up your pants to ....uhh....unexpected circumstances..... and a burn there is NOT what you want to explain to anyone no matter how much it hurts!
