According to my mechanic, TD is correct and 1967 80HP and 1968 85HP lower units are identical. I have a 67 80HP too and the 68 85HP is the diagram I get my parts from. So far so good.

Re: 1967 evinrude 80hp "propcone"

There are 3 different propnuts and 2 different drive pins. 2 of the propnuts were very big, one of which also fit the old old OMC sterndrives and the 1966 -1968 100hp. They fit, using the longer of the 2 drive pins, all of the props for this gearcase except for the 10" X 9 1/4" prop. The 10"X 9 1/4" prop had a smaller hub and needed a smaller propnut and drive pin. Strangely enough you could use the small propnut with the small drive pin on all the props.

So it might depend on which prop you are using.
