I have a 90 HP Force by Mercury, not sure about the year. The serial number is
OE1198934.This number comes from a paper sticker on the transom mount. Number is a bit difficult to read, the 8 could be a 0 etc.
I am also trying to determine the fuel to oil mix.
Can someone give me some help?
keng.

Roscoe,
I don't wish to look a gift horse in the mouth, but how did you determine the motor was a 1995? Thank you .

Well, you do have an extra digit in your serial number, but if the first 3 are "119", then you have a 1995 model.

Double check your number and compare it to what it have below.

Mercury made a clean break line in the serial numbers for each year.

Horsepower didn't matter.

1992-94 used serial numbers from OE000001 thru OE093699
1995 oe093700 thru oe138599
1996 oe138600 thru oe202999
1997 oe203000 thru oe287999
1998oe288000 thru oe344999
1999 oe345000 thru oe369299
