Well took my my boat to lake for a week good news ran great for 99% of time. Bad news trim line leaked , they were turned to side and when i turned it would bind till hose leaked, went to dealer $40.00 later and 15 min up and running. trim button worked occasionally, gauge worked great. It started hard so i opened heat choke up so it could breathe on cold start and it worked great, started quick with throttle choke lever straight up let run for a minute then good to go.
Then the bad 1% is while pulling a tuber it jumped out of gear and revved up.
Then it would not engage cuold not feel detents in shifter it would just throttle up and clicking noise. So with 2 hrs to go on the trip towed to ramp and loaded up. Have not had time to look at it. Sounds like pinion and gears or maybe cable
what do you think? Any body had this happen? No hurry to fix as I have a year to fix. If outdrive is bad will go with one of those off brand outdrives for $1300.00. Want to see if i can figure something out if not take to dealer.
