Can someone tell the proper fuel mix for a '67 Evinrude Sportfour 60HP? I've heard 50:1, and one guy even told me that there is no need to mix oil with a four cycle motor. If I do need to mix, what is the proper type of oil to use? I am relatively new to boating so any responses are appreciated.

1st you have a 4 cylinder 2 cycle motor, not a 4 cycle. yes, you have to mix fuel and oil, at a ratio of 50:1. you use TC-W3 outboard motor oil. these come in very handy. http://www.iboats.com/2_Cycle_Oil_Mi...-view_id.56142
