I never used this forum before, but here goes!
I have this 48SPL 94 model, runs good, but the "manual tilt" appears to be stuck! After flipping the lever out of the locked position to enable manual leg tilt, will allow it to lift no more than it would with the lever in the locked position. The leg will tilt up about 4 inches, both with the lever in the locked or unlocked position, but no more than that. I should be able to lift the leg high enough to get it above the water line, speaking from past experience.
What could be wrong? Any suggestions? Also, precisely which repair manual is recommended for this motor. I have an idea, but I'd like to hear it from one of you out there, with the experience or perhaps with the manual.
