Bellows replacement ?

Does one have to use the Merc "bellows adheasive" or will a rubber permatex sealer suffice? thanks

3M Weatherstrip adhesive works well as a substitute.

haha! that gooy stuff. Eeewww! Will permatex rubber adhesive sealant be ok?

Thanks Mark/Ziggy Not a short cut, I wanted something other than Merc bellows adhesive "that also works" Alternative... I live quite aways from any Merc dealer so if i can get the job done then yeah i'll go to my local auto parts. Just like for the Permatex thread repair.;) Thanks Don that stuff should do the trick.
