I have a 24' fixed keel sailboat which has lost the keel at the seal or joint where it is bolted to the boat. Since the keel is gone, will it be easy to find a trailer for it used? In order to trailer it about a thousand miles? Also I thought it would reduce the normal load by about 1,500 pounds, meaning the boat is fairly light now. Any ideas?

It shouldn't be too hard to find a trailer to fit your hull.

Try ebay or even your local RV dealership and tell them what you need...

It really needs to be supported correctly like the orginal shipping cradle did a normal boat trailer is compleatley different than a keel boat trailer

A used cradle or copy of one would give it the support to stop any futher dammage
